ABSTRACT
The article presents an overview of recent developments in financial planning research. The Research Foundation of CFA Institute released a paper entitled "The Literature of Private Wealth Management," that analyzes academic literature in the field of wealth management. FundQuest released a white paper entitled "Active vs. Passive Management" that reveals for many categories, the average mutual fund manager underperformed their benchmarks. An article in the "Journal of Wealth Management" discussed asset allocation.
