ABSTRACT
The article presents statistics about financial planning. According to the United States Census Bureau, women's earning increased 25% between 1990 and 2003, compared to less than ten percent for men. Nearly one-fifth of eligible 401(k) participants have outstanding loans from their accounts, according to the Employee Benefit Research Institute. The "Wall Street Journal" states that have of all workers with private-sector pensions have a lump sum option, compared to only 15% with the option in 1995.
