ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. is moving its headquarters from Denver, Colorado to Washington, D.C., in order to better monitor, influence, and manage public policy developments that affect the financial planning profession. The board, which was jointly founded by the Institute of Certified Financial Planners and the College for Financial Planning, expects to complete the move to the nation's capital and change of objectives by the fourth quarter of 2007.
