ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the performances of some actors who received the Tony Awards in the past. Actor Boyd Gaines, who had received the Tony Award for featured actor in "The Heidi Chronicles" in 1989, also appeared as a leading actor in the play "Journey's End." Another actor, Frank Langella, acted in "Frost-Nixon" and received the Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk Awards for outstanding actor in the play. Christopher Plummer acted as a doppleganger in the play "Inherit the Wind."
