AIG Acquires MTC Holdings

The article reports on the acquisition of Marine Terminals Corp. (MTC) by American International Group Inc. (AIG) in the U.S. The acquisition will allow AIG to expand its reach in maritime trade access control to 32 terminals in North America including Los Angeles, Long Beach and Oakland. AIG will also gain control over the more than 8 million containers that move through MTC dock.
