Hill;5/18/2007, Vol. 14 Issue 60, p6
The article reports that U.S. Senator Chris Dodd is considering introducing a companion measure to a bill on Internet gambling, presented by Barney Frank. It is expected that Dodd's possible move to repeal last year's crackdown on Web gambling could turn beneficial in Nevada which holds its Democratic presidential primary on January 19, 2008. Major League Baseball (MLB) and other professional sports leagues are opposing any effort to legalize Internet gambling.
