ABSTRACT
The article reports on the announcement of Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) Television Network on its acquisition of the Last.FM, an online music service for users in the U.S. CBS allotted about $280 million for such purchase while News Corp. Ltd. bought Photobucket, a video-sharing site, for about $300 million as well as Flektor, video-tools site for $20 million.
