ABSTRACT
The article reports on the assistance being offered by the National Association of Counties (NACo) to U.S. counties that are exploring green technology. The Green Government Initiative aims to provide counties with information on energy efficiency, renewable and alternative energy, green building, air quality, water quality and land use. The County Services Department of Financial Services Center of NACo plans to educate counties on green options and provide green services and products.
