ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA) has launched its "Five Moms" web site in May 2007 which highlights the dangers of using cough medicines to get intoxicated. The representative of the pharmaceutical and consumer-products companies is finding ways to reduce the prevalence of children consuming large quantities of cough medications to get high. Dextromethorpan, the most common ingredient of the medication, is said to cause harmful side effects.
