ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the sales of non-books in bookstores in the U.S. for 2007. The "Book Publishing Report" (BPR) survey includes 20 independent bookstores across the country that sell non-books items such as compact discs (CDs), digital videodiscs (DVDs), and stationery. Retailers mentioned the sales of non-book items are increasing. Moreover, the survey indicates that six of the 20 stores said that non-books sales increased.
