ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the contracting business of AE Stuart & Sons based near Exeter in Devon, England. Contracting services offered include forage harvesting, baling, maize and cereal drilling, and surface cultivation and ploughing operations. Owner Troy Stuart bought six new John Deere tractors to bring the company's tractor fleet up to 10. Stuart is asked to drill about 1500 acres of maize using an eight-row Accord precision drill worked in combination with a power-harrow.
