ABSTRACT
The article discusses the author's experience of meeting Norman Vincent Peale, author of the book "The Power of Positive Thinking." The author recalls that Peale asked him if he was happy when they first met. When he went to Peale's church, the author says that Peale's sermon was filled with stories about real people and how hope helped them get through problems. He claims that the lessons learned by Peale in his own life has benefited him.
