ABSTRACT
The article reports on the introduction of a new type of coating by the materials engineers at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. It states that the materials attract water yet beads oil, has some potential applications such as self-cleaning eyeglasses and antifogging car windshields and ski goggles. Furthermore, it prevents fogging by not allowing water to form beads on surfaces.
