The article reports on the closure of Revere Copper Products Inc. of its plate and sheet mill in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Higher energy cost and high cost of manufacturing in the U.S. are the main reasons for the closure of the mill, which produces copper and copper alloy industrial plate and sheet. It was believed that competition from German manufacturers of the same products also contributed to the closure.
