ABSTRACT
The article reports that Symmetricom Inc. in the U.S. has received initial orders from cable operators for its TimeCreator 1000. It is claimed that the initial orders are being tagged for laboratory testing of new Modular Cable Modem Termination System (M-CMTS). Moreover, the company has officially released its data over cable service Internet specification (DOCSIS) timing interface (DTI) server for commercial availability in January 2007.
