ABSTRACT
The article explores how the furniture industry in Singapore has maintained its globally competitive status. Singaporean furniture companies have been capitalizing on lower production costs and material optimization from the East, and innovation and design trends from the West. The industry works together with International Enterprise Singapore, an agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, to broaden its scopes overseas, especially in the U.S.
