The article reports that Netherlands-based Akzo Nobel will acquire Winston-Salem, North Carolina-based wood coatings manufacturer Chemcraft International. The acquisition will boost Akzo's image as one of the biggest suppliers of finishes in the world. Chemcraft is the largest privately owned manufacturer of industrial wood coatings in North America.
