Comcast sports net in Pacific Northwest

The article reports on Comcast's creation of the Comcast SportsNet Northwest and signing of a deal with the Portland Trail Blazers for the broadcast of live games beginning in October 2007. The network was created as part of Comcast's efforts to boost its sports operation. The Trail Blazers has previously been affiliated with FSN Northwest. Although Comcast has declined to reveal the financial terms of the deal, it is assumed that the monthly license fee is $2 per subscriber.
