The article focuses on a major quarterly research report on global uranium companies launched by Resource Capital Research in late March 2007. It has reviewed companies active in established uranium districts globally, including Australia, Canada and the U.S. The report has covered 23 global uranium exploration and development companies, and over 250 junior and mid-capitalization explorers, development and production companies. The spot uranium price has increased from $53.25/pound in September 2006 to $95/pound in March 2007. The report forecasts that the uranium price is heading to $125/pound during 2007 and to $140/pound by September 2008.
