ABSTRACT
The article presents the purpose and procedure of the issue in publishing biomedical literatures in the U.S. One purpose is to detect the best original and review article by using prestated criteria. The basic criteria and category-specific criteria are enumerated. For instance, an article must be in English and studies should have outcome measures of known or probable clinical importance. Studies of clinical prediction guides must be above-noted criteria for treatment and diagnosis.
