ABSTRACT
The article discusses things that U.S. grocers should consider when choosing the right pasteurized canned crabmeat to sell. The first consideration in selecting canned crabmeat for a market is the country of origin. It is necessary to determine if customers are looking for domestic or imported meat. It is a good idea to try several brands to compare quality and taste. Conducting a blind-panel taste test to determine which meat best fits a geographical area could also be a great help.
