The article reports on the decision of two local furniture retailers in Ontario to help customers of Furniture Direct, who lost their purchases when the local chain declared bankruptcy. Tepperman's Furniture and Johan's Countrywide plan to pay lost deposits of up to 25 percent of the invoice value and deliver the goods for a limited time.
