ABSTRACT
This article reports on the wedding gowns of fashion designer Amsale Aberra, who created her own gown in 1985 and developed her own brand ever since. Aberra prefers simplicity over formalism. From working out of her apartment, she now is carried by Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman, and sees her gowns on television and in movies like "Runaway Bride."
