ABSTRACT
The article reports on the growing problem of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infection in the U.S. MRSA has a fairly narrow pattern of antibiotic resistance and a typical pattern of antibiotic activity as distinguished from other types of staph infections.
