ABSTRACT
The article addresses a query on how interest rates affect the business performance of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning industry. The debt instruments issued by the U.S. government like T-Bills, T-Notes or T-Bonds may indicate the health of the national economy or the industry. When the economy is healthy, short term securities have lower interest rates than long-term securities. When funds rates are cut more than 3 times, this is a sign of a possible recession.
