The article reports on the business alliance formed between Temenos Group AG and Metavante Corp. Under the alliance, Metavante will act as the distributor of Temenos' banking platform in the U.S. market, while Temenos will retain royalties on licenses, maintenance, outsourcing fees, and professional service revenues. Meanwhile, analysts asserted that the alliance is beneficial to both companies with Metavante gaining upgraded core banking offering and Temenos penetrating the U.S. market.
