ABSTRACT
This article presents a summary of world events during the week of January 25, 1943. The author reports on actions taken by the U.S. State Department with regard to Vichy France, fascist Spain and China. He also comments on war rationing and the murder of Carlo Tresca, as well efforts by the U.S. Department of Justice to prosecute a lynching in Mississippi.
