ABSTRACT
The article highlights the SonicPool recording studio in Los Angeles, California. Patrick Bird and John Frost are co-owners of the studio as well as supervising mixers. SonicPool runs Pro Tools 192 HD systems on Mac G5 Quads, with Martinsound MultiMAX monitor controllers and Joemeek and PreSonus preamps. One thing that sets the studio apart from others is its diversity of clients, none of which represents over 5% of the company's business.
