ABSTRACT
The article profiles singer/songwriter John Mayer of the United States. In 2001, Mayer released the album "Room for Squares," which displayed the artist's lyrics over a rocked-up version of his acoustic solo act. Mayer is now into playing the electric guitar, forming the John Mayer Trio with bassist David LaBruyere and drummer Stephen Chopek. Mayer represented his most recent album, "Continuum," with an 8-piece band.
