Researchers at the meeting doled out some of the latest data on these therapeutic vaccines. In the fight to beat cancer, researchers are finding that therapeutic vaccines may boost survival rates. These vaccines play off the body's immune system to kill cancer cells. One study showed positive trial results for pancreatic cancer, one of the most serious cancers.
