ABSTRACT
The article reports that "Prom Queen," the new Michael Eisner-produced soap opera about teenagers who drink, have sex, and plot to kill one another, is playing on several Web sites. The web sites include MySpace, YouTube, Veoh, PromQueen.tv, Vuguru, ElleGirl, and StarStyle. Eisner's decision to spread the show far and wide reflects an emerging strategy known as super-distribution, in which content owners simultaneously upload videos to multiple sites in hopes of maximizing buzz, viewership, and advertising potential.
