ABSTRACT
The article provides world news briefs for the week ending July 28, 1941. The German invasion into the Soviet Union has slowed down; military experts remain divided on if this is just a pause in fighting or if the Soviet Union's resistance has improved. Military experts in London stated that the Russian campaign has made it impossible for Germany to attempt an invasion of England in 1941. The Soviet Union is reported to be using political commissars to keep Russian soldiers from surrendering.
