The article presents an interview with Keith Norman and Paul Cartwright of Velcourt. Norman says that compost has a lot of advantages for improving soil organic matter, water-holding capacity and workability. Cartwright states that biosolids provide good levels of phosphate and nitrogen. Norman mentions that distance to collection sites will prohibit growers from using the quality protocol for compost.
