Finland makes a record investment

The article reports that Finland's chemical industry invested €86 million on environmental, and health and safety requirements during 2006. According to the Chemical Industry Federation of Finland (CIFF), the investment was 22 percent higher than during 2005. The Finnish chemical industry was also involved in a total of 304 stakeholder events during 2006. CIFF says that 105 companies operating in various areas of Finland's chemical industry have signed up to the Responsible Care programme.
