Eitzen orders Korean chemical carriers

The article reports that Eitzen Chemical has ordered two coated chemical carriers from South Korean shipyard Jinse Shipbuilding and has an option for two more. The shipowner will also sell its 50 percent share in two 13,000 deadweight tonnage (dwt) coated ships. At the same time, Eitzen Chemical has agreed to buy the remaining 50 percent interest in Sichem Pearl, a 10,300 dwt stainless steel vessel, from Nordic Tankers based on a value of $16 million.
