Hexion Specialty Chemicals plans to raise North American specialty phenolic resins prices by 4.5 to 9 cents per pound, depending on the product. From May 1, 2007, or as contracts allow, Dow Chemical is increasing European prices for its products, such as low-density polyethylene. Equipolymers will raise prices for all Lightertm polyethylene terephthalate resins by €80/tonne in Europe from May 1.
