E85 and BASF talk biofuels

This article reports that U.S.-based E85 Inc. is in talks with Germany's BASF about the construction of a bioethanol plant at the latter's Hannibal site in Palmyra, Missouri. The plant would have an annual capacity of 115 million gallons. BASF confirmed that talks were taking place but further details of the project were not immediately available.
