Pipes industry establishes UAE-based trade association

This article reports that Abu Dhabi-based Borouge launched the Gulf Plastics Pipe Academy (GPPA) in the United Arab Emirates to combat the increasing use of poor-quality plastic pipes in the region. The non-profit aims to raise awareness of proper installation practices and to promote quality standards in the Middle East and Asia. The GPPA was officially launched at a conference by GPPA founder Harald Hammer, CEO of Borouge.
