ABSTRACT
This article reports on the purchase of Ceilcote, the U.S.-based corrosion protection business of KCH Group, by Dutch coatings and chemicals firm Akzo Nobel. Ceilcote produces polymer-based corrosion controls for steel and concrete structures used in the mining, wastewater and chemicals processing and power generation industries. Says Akzo chief executive officer (CEO) Hans Wijers, the deal underlines their commitment to delivering on the firm's growth strategy.
