ABSTRACT
This article reports that German-based specialty chemicals producer Sud-Chemie recorded a 24 percent increase in earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) in 2006. The firm expects to show a more than 10 percent increase in operating profits in 2007 after seeing strong growth across its entire product range in 2006. Earnings posted by Sud-Chemie's adsorbents and catalysts divisions are stated.
