ABSTRACT
The article reports on the partnership between Expedia Corporate Travel company and TerraPass company, a retailer of greenhouse gas, to launch an offset carbon program to its customers in Australia. It was noted that Expedia is the first global travel agency to implement such initiative. The program enables environmentally-conscious businesses to both calculate the amount of carbon dioxide from their employees' business travel and purchase the corresponding amount of offsets to balance it.
