ABSTRACT
The article reports on the withdrawal of the direct flights of Austrian Airlines company between Australia and Austria effective March 25, 2007. Austrian National Tourist Office (ANTO) director Astrid Mulholland-Licht believes that the withdrawal will not affect the demand for European destination since the routes are not dropped. She adds that double-daily flights would likely happen if the initiative was made due to the emerging airlines.
