The article reports on the withdrawal of the direct flights of Austrian Airlines company between Australia and Austria effective March 25, 2007. Austrian National Tourist Office (ANTO) director Astrid Mulholland-Licht believes that the withdrawal will not affect the demand for European destination since the routes are not dropped. She adds that double-daily flights would likely happen if the initiative was made due to the emerging airlines.
