ABSTRACT
The article reports on the acquisition of the Mi-Di Inc. Maskinonge, Quebec by the Canadian casual dining specialist Bermex International Inc. The Mi-Di is said to selling its dining furniture for about C$10 million annually, though it is found to be unpopular in the U.S. It manufactures solid-birch formal and casual dining sets with contemporary and traditional designs. It is aimed to operate separately from the Bermex, in addition to the company's three divisions.
