ABSTRACT
The article offers information about Cinema Digital Seoul, a film festival devoted to Asian features shot on digital format, which will hold its first edition from July 20 to 27, 2007. The festival, sponsored by the CJ Culture Foundation and the Arts Council Korea, targets local viewers and will feature a competition section of 20 titles by new directors. According to Korean local critic Chung Sung-il, the festival is about giving opportunities and discovering creative efforts in digital medium.
