ABSTRACT
The article presents a study on depression associated with diabetes. The study revealed that older adults with depressive symptoms may increase the risk of diabetes. The researchers studied data from 4,681 participants free of diabetes who completed the 10-item Center for Epidemiological Studies-Depression Scale (CES-D) for the Cardiovascular Health Study. Furthermore, the researchers found that a threshold of depressive symptoms related to diabetes.
