The article focuses on the impact of the Chinese-made bedding products in the U.S. bedding industry discussed by the panel of producers and importers at the second Bedding Conference in Texas. Panelists argue that imported mattresses aren't such a good deal for retailers or consumers in the domestic market. However, other panelists with expertise in importing believes that Chinese bedding has gained ground in the U.S. and that consumers have already accepted the Chinese goods.
