ABSTRACT
The article reports that Rockaway Bedding is seeking to close or sell all but roughly 50 stores in New Jersey and Delaware. The author stated that the company, which filed a bankruptcy protection, has asked the court for approval to hire Hilco Merchant Resources to run going-out-of-business sales, liquidating approximately $4.25 million in goods at 121 out of about 180 stores. It also plans a complete or near-complete closure from other branches including New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.
