ABSTRACT
The article describes how cash projection models and analyzing data can help retailers in avoiding bankruptcy. The operator can forecast the expenses for cash uses that are based upon vendor payment terms. The warning signs and working capital of business can be identified by making the framework of projection model. The framework includes labor, rents, debt service and other predictable expenses. The customer and transaction counts need to be monitored on daily basis.
