The article presents information on the collective voice echoed by the retailers at the CIO Roundtable in March 2007 on the Payment Card Industry (PCI) security standards. Edward Strahs, Kwik Trip's director of information systems, said that the chain has been PCI-compliant for almost two years--but not without a lot of effort. All the retailers on the panel said they use an outside firm to do PCI audits for Level 1 compliance.
