Cochrane Library to be available to all Canadians

The article reports on the plan of Cochrane Collaboration to give Canadians a free nationwide access to its online databases that provides a wide array of information. The plan was announced during the 5th annual symposium of Canadian Cochrane in Ottawa on February 2007. According to Canadian Cochrane Network and Centre Director Jeremy Grimshaw, the initiative was aimed to strengthen the organization's interaction with consumers and to raise awareness on how Cochrane can help in decision making.
